I’m Jake Reagan, owner and inspector at Hammerhead Inspections. I started Hammerhead with a simple goal: to give homeowners, buyers, investors, and business owners the kind of inspection I would want if my own money and family were on the line.
My background is rooted in hands-on operations, property oversight, and business ownership. Over the years, I’ve been involved in projects from the ground up—including taking commercial locations from bare land through construction and into fully operating businesses. That experience gave me a firsthand understanding of how buildings come together, how their systems work, and how seemingly small issues can turn into expensive problems when they’re overlooked.
Today, I bring that same attention to detail to every residential and commercial inspection I perform.
At Hammerhead Inspections, I’m not there to simply check boxes or rush through a property. My job is to dig deeper, document what I find, and give you a clear understanding of the property in front of you. I inspect the major systems and components of the property, identify visible defects and safety concerns, and provide a detailed report designed to be useful—not overwhelming.
I also believe a good inspector should be willing to explain what they find. Whether you’re buying your first home, purchasing an investment property, evaluating a commercial building, or simply trying to better understand the condition of a property you already own, I’ll take the time to answer your questions and put the findings into perspective.
Hammerhead Inspections is locally owned and operated, and when you schedule an inspection, you’re hiring the owner—not being handed off to someone you’ve never met. My name and reputation are attached to every inspection I perform, and I take that seriously.
Most residential inspections take between 2–4 hours, depending on the size, age, and condition of the property. Hammerhead Inspections will provide an estimated timeframe when you schedule.
